Rudy Gobert Suspended For Play-In At Lakers
Rudy Gobert won’t play for the Minnesota Timberwolves in their play-in game at the Los Angeles Lakers due to a suspension. Gobert will serve a one-game suspension and is expected to return for either another play-in game on Friday, or Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs if the Wolves beat the Lakers.
Gobert and Kyle Anderson had a physical altercation during Sunday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Gobert then tweeted Anderson an apology after the game.
“Emotions got the best of me today. I should not have reacted the way i did regardless of what was said. I wanna apologize to the fans, the organisation and particularly to Kyle, who is someone that i truly love and respect as a teammate,” wrote Gobert.
