Suns Were Giving Impression Of Seeking Long-Term Solution At Point Guard Even Before Latest Chris Paul Injury
Even before another playoff series ended with Chris Paul dealing with an injury, the Phoenix Suns were giving teams the impression they were looking for a long-term solution at point guard, sources told Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. Paul missed Games 3-6 of the second round with a groin injury.
The Suns have been linked to a number of point guards from Fred VanVleet to Terry Rozier. Phoenix also pursued a trade for Kyrie Irving before he was dealt to the Dallas Mavericks.
Paul has only $15.8 million of his $30.8 million salary guaranteed next season.
